I am very grateful to Vasiliy Poryagin for his great project. This is my new lighting practice, it's based on UE5.1. The project runs at 2560x1440 resolution on an RTX4090. 70~100+fps. I try to do some interesting lighting moods.
I used the weather function of Ultra Dynamic Sky, which is relatively simple to use, and with a little adjustment of parameters, it can express the weather effect of rain very well.
The beating rain on the surface and the flowing water passing by the side of the object are realized through the shader. These tiny variations in roughness play really nicely with the lighting...
I hope you will like it.
